About Sarah
Sarah’s estate planning practice focuses on helping families enhance their lives today and secure their futures tomorrow.
She excels in guiding her clients through the often-confusing maze of financial and legal decisions, and creates plans that ensure the well-being of families and their goals. Her legal expertise includes family protection, wealth preservation, and values-based planning, as well as strategic planning for unmarried couples and divorced individuals. Sarah enjoys working with a spectrum of individuals and families and creating custom plans that help them meet their goals.
Sarah started her career in Montana– graduating from law school in 2007 and then going on to work for a well-respected, boutique law firm with a focus in business planning, estate planning, and water rights. During that time, she also worked as an Associate Professor at the University of Montana Western. Sarah has also worked for numerous non-profit organizations in Idaho, solving challenging water issues and conserving open space and working lands.
Sarah opened Sarah Lien Law, PLLC to serve the beautiful, strong families in her community. Her concentration on Trusts and Estates law stems from her passion for helping families create happy and secure futures.
Most important to Sarah is her family– she is the proud mother of her treasured twin girls Wren and Rae, and proud partner to her wonderful husband, Mike.
